Like everything, there are pros and cons. Im going to just name a few... Pros- Very Useful (easier to navigate and more reliable than other search engines) Detailed results (percentages, different modes, graphs) Beautiful Visuals (Graphs are simply stunning, and the interface is nice) Extra Keyboard (so much easier to input numbers and symbols) Cons- Restricted results (sometimes, it cannot show even the simplest things) Plain loading sign (it is very pixelated and dull) Shows history (should add a clear history button)

I absolutely love this app; I use it all the time.

Just a few hours of searching around on this app has completely blown me away. I am a senior in high school and strongly recommend this to any and all high school/ college students. Im not going to talk about how great this app is because the other reviews get the point across, however something I wanted to add is how the app is integrated into iOS by utilizing Siri functionality.

Wolfram Alpha has been helping me learn math and solve problems for over a year now, in addition to being to being the ultimate knowledge power in the universe (sorry, Imperials, not even the Death Star can top this one). Its helped me all the way from my geometry and algebra classes in high school, up to trig and engineering calculus in college- with step-by-step instructions for many of those problems you just cant seem to work out on your own. It also integrates with Siri, and knows that the Answer to Life, the Universe, and Everything is exactly 42. To any broke college student out there with a math class - forgo a cup of Starbucks coffee, a snack from a vending machine, or a beer, and invest in your education instead. You wont regret it.

This is such an amazing and powerful tool. Im amazed at the price for everything it offers. Every college student should have this app.

Came up blank on first two things I looked up.

The keyboard freezes when in use.

I purchased the app thinking "hey this might help make homework go faster" but instead greeted with incorrect calculations. Also I paid for an app jus to find out I have to pay for more features. Was pretty lame.

Search for and find answers that you dont get on Google or Yahoo!

WolframAplha is the only app I have discovered that helps my teaching and tutoring. Especially with finite sciences, such as mathematics, physics, linguistics, and other subjects that are difficult to relate to for some students. I have used even used this app to help students with hearing challenges to translate written ASL into written and spoken English so that undergraduate mathematics becomes a relatable subject, despite the differences in context and subject in written ASL. This app is indispensable to higher level education.

This app is neither multitasking or iPad Pro native; its due for an API overhaul. For an app this necessary to my workflow, fixing just these two thing would easily make this my favorite and most important app Ive ever installed.

You can look anything up and calculate anything you can dream up.

deltoidal hexecontahedron has no information about dihedral angle. This is a fundamental piece of information that should appear with edge length, vertices, etc. I guess its back to Wikipedia for this info, too bad, this is why I purchased this app in the first place

Here is a 3 dollar one that never gets the answer wrong.

I am a perpetual teacher and student. This app is indispensable in any collegiate arena. This app allowed me to tutor a hearing impaired student in undergraduate calculus AND business finance. The student went from a 2.1 gap to a 3.6, and this app is the medium that facilities her academic success. A must have. If a more in-depth study is needed, the WolframAlpha website is ready to meet the challenge.
